Title:
"From Baltimore To Harrisburg," Page 41, 1944
Description:
Here is page four of a four-page article by William Moedinger Jr., entitled "From Baltimore To Harrisburg On The PRR." It was published originally in the August 1944 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 41. Top Photo Caption: "The winding train above is almost at the summit, which is exactly under the overhead highway bridge on which the photographer is standing." In the lead is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3771, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1920 and retired in April of 1947 after 27 years of faithful service. Notable here is a map by Linn H. Westcott delineating the PRR's route between Baltimore and Harrisburg.
