Then last but not least, BNSF 584, one of two B40-8s in Bluebonnet paint left in the world. Extremely sad to see these classic GEs go, but Im glad I took the time to get photos of the ones I could, especially the ATSF painted ones. There apparently is 1 or 2 H1 B40-8s left to come, but those dont intrigue me as much as the Bluebonnets. While I might regret wasting the gas now, I definitely will be happy I went and saw these engines in years to come. Some really, really good and rare catches. |
