It was published originally in the June 1948 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 24. Photo Caption: "P-RS has some engines of its own, but also uses Pennsylvania and Reading locomotives." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2445, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1917 and retired in September of 1953 after 36 years of faithful service.
