| MDiv. Here is the second of two successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by Nelson Bowers that were taken in Marysville, Pennsylvania, in December of 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #762, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during May of 1915 and retired in November of 1957 after 42 years of faithful service. It's stopped in the old yard in Marysville, awaiting a "Proceed" signal, and then will continue on to the Enola Yards. ("Stoneborobranch"; #27 of 56) |
