| Blackhawk. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Mayer Pearlman that was taken in South Amboy, New Jersey, perhaps in 1956. Photo Caption: "Pair of Pennsylvania K-4's at South Amboy, N.J." Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #3752 and #646. Both are K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics" built in Juniata. #3752 was built during April of 1920 and retired in April of 1958, while #646 was built during March of 1918 and retired in November of 1957. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Railroads Around New York" that's produced by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (254-17). |
