Here is page 15 of a 15-page cover article by Frederick Westing entitled "This Is The Story Of A Pacific ~ The World's Greatest." It was published originally in the August 1956 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 58. Photo Caption: "Today's version of a proud Pacific finds K-4 front end with relocated generator and headlight, front-end throttle, drop-coupler solid pilot." Shown here is PRR engine #5481, a K-4SA built in Juniata as a K-4S in 1927, rebuilt as a K-4SA, and retired in November of 1956 after 29 years of faithful service.
