Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken at the 46th Street Enginehouse in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 7 January 1958. The photographer is not identified. Photo Caption: "Baldwin DR 12-8-3000 #5832, 3000-hp, at Philadelphia, Pa." Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5832 and another "Centipede" whose number is not recorded. #5832 is a BH-50 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as a 3,000 horsepower BP-60A in February of 1948, later regeared and reclassified as a 2,500 horsepower BH-50, and retired in April of 1962 after just 14 years of revenue service.
