| Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of (L to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9701 and a "Shark" B-unit whose road number is not recorded. Both were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #9701 is a BF-15A constructed in April of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in February of 1965 after just 15 years of revenue service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. |
