PRR 9785, EF-15A, 1960
Gallitzin. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, during November of 1960. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #9785, #9876-B, and #9652. All were built by EMD and are rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9785 is an EF-15A built in 1951. #9876-B is an EF-15A built in 1952. #9652 is an EH-15 built in 1950. They are running light and are about to pass under the State Route 53 Bridge just West of Gallitzin, which is visible in the distance. ("Red Shift" slide converted to Black & White.)
