| A rare bird, this is one of the few examples of a Lima-Hamilton locomotive. Lima was more know for its superpower steam rather than the 174 diesel-electric locomotives it turned out in the early 1950s. This unit is the last locomotive to be ordered from L-H however the last locomotive built was a PRR transfer unit which was completed after the Baldwin-Lima merger. |
