| C 420 223 has a work train under control as the construction continues for the electrification project that will bring better and faster service to central Long Island. LIRR had little freight equipment of its own, just some MOW cars, so had to use other roads cars for projects, such as the C&O gon behind the power. Opening day is only 15 months off. |
