The trail unit of a CN Stevens Point to Green Bay train idles on former C&NW rails on the siding at Stroebe, WI on 27 Jul. '14. Train had two locomotives, CN 5798 pulling and CN 5641 pushing. The 40-car train halted at the northeast end of Stroebe siding, to wait for a local which was dropping a string of cars at Appleton Junction. For some reason the trail unit uncoupled from the train and ran back to the southwest end of the siding, seemed a little unusual. The western approach to the Roland Kampo Bridge over Little Lake Butte des Morts is in the background. |
