Built in 1950 by AC&F in Lot #3126 as GN customs office-1DR-17 seat buffet parlor-16 seat lounge observation #1196 PORT OF VANCOUVER, 1 of 2 such cars (#1195 and!#1196) built in that Lot, which was ordered in July 1946 for the INTERNATIONAL; both cars were delivered in May 1950. In 1971, the 2 cars were sold to Amtrak as #3770 and #3771. The PORT OF VANCOUVER was retired and sold in 1975 to Peter Schultz (Louisville, KY), and was later acquired by Larry Milsow (Spokane, WA) and renamed CITY OC SPOKANE.
