| This old timer was delivered in May 1966 Seaboard as GP40 613 and after a long career with numerous railroads and lessors this old timer found a home with Helm. After a rebuilding to GP38-2 specs this diesel joined the UP fleet in full UP paint. After UP ordered all leased power off their roster this diesel wore patched UP paint with Helm markings. In August 2012 this diesel received a Helm maroon dip job but remains employed by UP. |
