Ex-NP Casselton/Mayville line.
Looking West On the Ex-GN Surrey Cut-Off. the NP built a line north from Casselton to Mayville in Approx. 1884, the building of the line was a breach of an agreement the NP and GN had so the GN ended up with the NP line heading north out of Casselton, they quickly built a short line segment from the Whapeton line up to this line. There was never a diamond as the N-S line was built before the Surry Cut-Off was built, once the Cut-Off was built A wye was installed to the southern line to Amenia, the East leg of said wye is the first switch, the second switch heads north on the Ex-NP to Arthur.
