Westbound BNSF Breckenridge, MN to Etter, TX grain train G-BREETT5-15A rolls by West Edison on the BNSF Hastings Subdivision with ES44DC 7207, C44-9W 4748, and C44-9W 986, 100 loads, 0 empties, 13011 tons, 6990 feet. At McCook, the BNSF 986 will be combined with ES44DC 7634 and put on the rear of the train to depart for the Colorado Division in 2x2 DP configuration. The new PTC signals loom over the soon-to-be-retired searchlight signals. To the left is BNSF 7910 with the head-end of grain train G-BRDKIN9-15A which was parked on two elevator tracks for spacing for the Colorado Division because of crew issues.
