| The Soo built a branch line called the "Wheat Line" From Theif River Falls MN, to Fordville ND, to Drake ND, @ Drake it rejoined the Main line heading NW fqom Hankinson ND to Canada Via Minot. Today it is operated by the Northern Plains RR out of Fordville ND. Sardis is located 3.5 miles south of Brocket where HWY 1 frosses the tracks. there is a short 15 car siding and a tiny elevator that is set up to load rail cars, but I am unsure if they still load them or not. |
