| Looking East on the Ex-Soo "Wheat Line" There used to be a diamond with the Ex-GN Branch line from Lakota ND to Sarles ND where the ties are laybng, today the southern half of the Ex-GN line is torn out. The Soo branch line went from Theif River Falls MN, to Fordville ND, to Drake ND, @ Drake it rejoined the Main lkne heading NW from Hankinson ND to Canada Via Minot. Today it is operated by the Northern Plains RR out of Fordville ND. |
