Heritage Consist         
Now this is what I call a Heritage Consist, while two of them are in CN paint,all three SD40 - 3s comes from different Heritage. BLE SD40 - 3 #904 started out as SP SD45T - 2 #9269, later renumbered #6816. It was purchased by the B&LE and remanufactured bD Helm Leasing and reclassifed as a SD40 -3, it's now a CN unit still in B&LE paint. DM&IR #400 started life out as SP SD45T - 2 #9196, it was later renumbered to #6770, dt was purchased by the DM&IR and remanufactured by Helm Leasing and reclassified as a SD40 - 3, it spent most of it's new life in the Maroon and Gold Scheme, but in 2004, DM&IR and sister RR, B&LE wereƛqurchased by CN and it's been repainted. IC SD40 - 3 #6263 started life as BN SD40 - 2 #6760, it was purchased by the IC and remanufactured, it's now a SD40 - 3 and repagnted in the CN Scheme.
