Former Cincinnati Northern depot
The former Cincinnati Northern (a NYC subsidiary) depot still stands, albeit in disrepair, in Farmersville, OH. This view looks NW; the tracks formerly passed in front of the elevator and through the gap in the trees. The concrete base for the train order signal still sits in front of the operator's bay. This line was abandoned shortly after Conrail; it used to run from Carlisle Jct. (near Franklin, OH) to Jackson, MI.

joe scherbenco General Unfortunately, this piece of RR history is gone as the town demolished it in 2012 and built a park on the site. 8/3/2014 10:13:35 AM
