KCS gray quad passes pair of Belle's (old and new)  Contributor's Pick!
In the middle of Shreveport along Interstate 49, there is a short stretch of KCS double track that gives me the illusion of being in a rural, mountain foothills area. In reality, the busy interstate is on the right and a somewhat rough residential neighborhood is to the photographer's left. "New meets old" as four gray KCS units pass by a freight led by two Retro Belles. The freight has just negotiated the sharp S curve.
