This is a GE 65-Tonner, maybe ex-USN.

Production of the 44-tonner ended in 1956. This is ballasted to be a 65-tons. The North American Shortline Railway Guide is well known for having wrong information, similar roster books seem to list all center-cabs as 44-tons. The Yuma Valley had an ex-Army Davenport 44-ton.

44-tonners do not have walk-around hood ends. 152408 is not a GE constructor's number, and according to GE constructor records, they did build any locomotives for the USMC in 1957.
