UNION PACIFIC'S LJL 41 (PROVO SWITCHER) AMERICAN FORK,UTAH NOVEMBER 5,2010.         
Two former Missouri Pacific GP38-2's built in 1980 idle in front of Jim's Restaurant on UP's Provo Industrial Lead after dropping it's train off in Pleasant Grove. This stretch of trackage once served as Union Pacific's Provo-Salt Lake City Mainline before 1985. The line hosted unit coiled steel trains to and from Geneva Steel,iron ore,coal,general freight and detouring LA&SL mainline trains. Mount Timpanogos in the distance has a fresh coat of snow,The location is along state street between Pleasant Grove and American Fork.
