NH 4-6-2 #1372 - New Haven         
A note on the back of the photo states " Last Steam Train on New Haven - at South Station ready to leave. 4/27/52 Same location as no. 211 and same specifications except for weight of 287,000#. #1372 carries white for this special run." History - Alco/Schenectady, 9/1916, class I-4. Specs - class I-4-e, 200 psi boiler pressure, 79" drivers, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight of 287,500. Technically, the loco was retired in August of 1947 but brought back for the Last Steam excursion. This is a C.L. Clarke photo.
