A note on the back of the photo states " Last Steam Train on New Haven - at South Station ready to leave. 4/27/52 Same location as no. 211 and same specifications except for weight of 287,000#. #1372 carries white for this special run." History - Alco/Schenectady, 9/1916, class I-4. Specs - class I-4-e, 200 psi boiler pressure, 79" drivers, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight of 287,500.
