| Everyday. Here is an original photo that I took in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in March of 1972. Prominent here is Penn Central Railroad engine #9035, an SW7 switcher built by GM-EMD in May of 1950 and rated at 1,200 horsepower; its original PRR number was "9365." Its crew is shifting some cars in the Yard, two of which are wrecked TrailerTrain flatcars that will be delivered to the Berwind-White Railroad Car Shops. At the left is the Yardmaster's Office. "Bald Hill" dominates the distance. |
