Originally built for the AT&SF as Car #901831 in 1950 and named Regal Spa, the car was renumbered as AT&SF #68 on December 5, 1973. The car was purchased by the Santa Fe to run in its premier passenger train, the Super Chief. The car was later renumbered to BNA #68 by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway on January 12, 1996, and later renamed Rollins Pass by the BNSF in July 1998. The car's accommodations include 10 individual bedrooms. It can be configured in a suite arrangement in which the car will be able to hold five couples and two individuals, or seven people. Suites A-B, G-H, and I-J have connecting doors, which are not contained in suites C, D, E, and F. |
