| Westbound on the Old GN "Surrey Cut off" looking at the switch to head west and onto Minot. in 1912 when the Cut-Off was built the Line from Wahpeton ND, to Casselton ND, onto Devils Lake and eventualy ending at Hansboro ND was crossed just behind me. so the GN rebuilt the area to look like this, there was never a diamond as the GN "Main" was to come from Casselton via Ayr which is the track curving in from the left, and then west on the Cut-Off. |
