Southern Railway U23B #3950 leads "P" line train #46 across the Western Railway of Alabama and past the former Central of Georgia depot
Southern Railway U23B # 3950 was built July 1975 and later became Norfolk Southern #3950. 46's brakeman and flagman are already outside the locomotive cab preparing to drop down and begin working the east interchange tracks. Between the Opelika Switch Engine and the Roanoke Rockets cars from the "T" line to Lafayette, train #46 will have a huge pickup to go with an already long train.
