Atlanta Rails	General	It had to be sometime late 70's, early 80's, its been over 20 years atleast, im not exact on the dates, i need to do more research on this line. There havnt been any customers along this strech in a long time, so Southern must have decided it was easier just to base seperate crews out of Madison and Athens. Its an interesting line, ive driven along it on 441 many times but i need to get out and do some proper exploration of it soon.	1/20/2009 8:23:01 PM

Rails in the weeds
The northern }xtent of vegetation control along the NS line to Watkinsville and Athens. The rail is intact for the most part, but certainly not in any good condition. When was the last train to go through uo Athens?
