Description:  CB&Q XM-5 9828 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in June, 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. According to the October 1971 issue of the Official Railway Equipment Register (ORER), this was one of 43 cars (50 were built) in the 9800-9849 number series (BN #'s 390000-390049) built by Pullman, 60'9" inside length, 69'1" outside length, 5991 cubic foot, 176000 pound capacity, 16' door opening. It is stencilled: BLT 10.63 and reweighed RO-9-76.
