Description:  5 double bedroom (5DB) sleeper-23 seat lounge observation, ex-NYC #10633, nee-#10570, Pullman-Standard, August 1948, Lot #6790, Plan #4126, 20TH CENTURY LIMITED, retired in 1967 and sold in 1968 to Ringling Brothers, later resold to a private owner as JSCX #10633, now owned by the United Railroads Historical Society of New Jersey as URHX #10570/#800733, has been fully restored and is in regular charter use. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide. Date is approximate. Photographer is unknown.

Title:  RBB&B 1977 Blue Train
Description:  This is the 1977 Edition of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus BLUE TRAIN, parked in the Illinois Central Gulf's Poydras Yard for performances in the nearby Louisiana Superdome. This year, the observation car was Ringling 157. (Back then, Ringling cars changed numbers from year to year.) The car was originally New York Central 5-double-bedroom/buffet/lounge-observation HICKORY CREEK, one of two such cars built by Pullman-Standard for service on the TWENTIETH CENTURY LIMITED. It was built in August 1948 and retired in 1968.
