Odd Duck out to pasture
Description:
Lima's 1200hp road switcher was only ever purchased by the New York Central, and would turn out to be the only road switcher model Lima would build. 6201 and a classmate sit awaiting a tow to the scrapyard, having been retired by this date. Two of this class would make it to Penn Central, only because they had been re-engined with EMD 567s. Harry L. Juday photo, from the Ralph L.
