Album Info:The Walkersville Southern is a short line Tourist RR operating over a few miles of old PRR trackage at Walkersville, Md. The line was last operated by the Maryland Midland in the 80s after the PRR stopped service. WSRR operations began in 1995. A short history is available at: http://www.wsrr.org/history.htm The WSRR is a volunteer operation with lots of jobs needing attention in many disciplines. Operation is on weekends only, with up to 3 trains daily running over a few miles of track south of the original PRR station from Walkersville.
